1867 (22 Jun) cover international, From Kronstadt, to Pont-Rousseau, France, unpaid (rectangular postmark on the front of the envelope is not franked). Also on the front of the envelope, handwritten mark "11" is the amount of unpaid next to the Prussian accountancy mark 'P.38.' ('P.' means PRUSSIA), used on Prussian transit mail from Poland and Russia, with destination France (the uniform rate was 11 decimes (1.1 francs).

The letter passed in transit through the German Empire along the southern route of the Prussian Eastern Railway (Eisenbahnpost Bureau XI). Carmine round postmark "Aus Russland / über Bur. XI. EDK. BRG" 6.7.1867 unpaid (porto) mail - translates as "From Russia / via bureau XI. EDK. BRG". type Ry11. EDK.BRG meaning Eydtkuhnen-Bromberg, 8.7.1867 transit stamp ERQUELINES at the border of France , 8.7.1867 transit stamp Paris, Transit stamp train Paris Bordeaux 8.07.1867. destination stamp Pont-Rousseau 9.7.1867
