1858 (31 May) cover. From St. Petersburg to Dorpat (now Tartu, Estonia). The letter is franked with 10k, cancelled with the St. Petersburg postmark (the second type of experimental cancellation, "1" in the center). Received in Dorpat (Dorpat) on 2 June 1858, rectangular postmark on the back of the envelope. Rare - the second type of experimental cancellation was used from 19 February 1858 (the earliest known cancellation) until the end of September 1858.
